William Lewis is our Social Studies Student of the Week. William is a diligent student in Civics class who contributes greatly to class discussion and always has a positive attitude.

Our students and a group of 8th grade visitors spent time learning how to plant and care for flowers with the help of volunteers, Mr. and Mrs. Kappel. Students filled pots with soil and carefully moved flowers into new pots, so they have room to continue growing.
This hands-on activity gave students the opportunity to practice following directions and building fine motor skills while learning about plant care and responsibility.
